As he grew older, he continued to gain valuable experience leading multiple music teams through rehearsals and live performances, while also captivating large audiences with his solo performances.
His love and passion for music led him to pursue & earn his bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Berklee College Of Music. He studied under esteemed vocal professors such as Jerome Kyles, and Nichelle Mungo. While attending college, he began working on creating his original music, expanding his sound, honing his skills as a singer, songwriter, producer and live performer, and finding his authentic voice as an artist. He has performed multiple shows under his own name in Boston, in the greater New England area, and most recently at the 2025 Rocky Mount Juneteenth Festival.
Amari Alexander’s music is infused with smooth vocals, soulful grooves, and heartfelt lyrics, with an authentic and fresh sound.
